Winner for Best Drone Show at an Event
This year’s winner for “Best Drone Show at an Event” is Lumasky Drone Show. The show took place at the United Arab Emirates Formula 1 event, held at the Baku City Circuit. The performance featured over 1000 drones, creating a stunning display in the night sky. Winner for Best Drone Show for Storytelling
The winner for “Best Drone Show for Storytelling” is BotLab Dynamics. Their performance took place during the Janmashtami festival in Rajasthan, India, and depicted the life of Krishna, the God of Compassion and Protection. Over 1000 drones were used to create intricate and beautiful formations in the sky, telling the story of Krishna’s life. The judges were impressed with BotLab Dynamics’ ability to bring a traditional story to life using drone technology.
Winner for Most Creative Use of a Drone Show
The award for “Most Creative Use of a Drone Show” goes to That Drone Show Guy. He performed a unique show over Austin, Texas, using 600 drones to create a giant QR code in the sky. When residents scanned the QR code, they were redirected to a video of Rick Astley’s iconic song “Never Gonna Give You Up.” The judges found That Drone Show Guy’s performance to be inventive and entertaining, showcasing the creative potential of drone shows.
